It has definitely been a minute since I have been able to add a new post to my blog. But finally, I am done working on these invites for my sister's bridal shower! 50 in total! The first time I have ever mass produced anything. I love how they turned out. :)

I tried finding a digital stamp with flowers in a mason jar, but didn't have much luck finding one that really worked with what I had in mind. But I did recall seeing a stamp set at Michaels that I thought would work and it did! The Bouquet for You stamp set by Stampendous was perfect.

I typed up the info on Microsoft Word with a super cute font I found on Pinterest, and formatted it to A2 size. I printed on 65 lb Recollections cardstock and used my MISTI and Post-it note masks to stamp out each jar with the flowers and the stems.

Then I used the Crop-A-Dile Big Bite to punch 1/8" holes for the ribbon. Her wedding color is teal and I was able to find this 1/8" teal ribbon at Michaels for $0.50 (you'll need 2 spools for 50 invites, 10" each).

To make the invites sturdier and cover up the ribbon on the back, I cut 50 more A2 size panels out of Recollections 110 lb white cardstock, and adhered them to the back.

When I think of spring and papercrafting, I automatically think of Doodlebug! They have the cutest designs and their color palette for spring is just so bright. I can't wait for winter to stop lingering! Also, lucky for me, Pat Catan's and Hobby Lobby both carry a little bit of Doodlebug, so I didn't have to wait for an online order. I was also lucky (maybe because it was St. Patrick's Day, I don't know lol) to find their icon cardstock sticker sheets on sale for $1.00! :) Definitely couldn't pass on a deal like that. So, to start I laid out all the papers and chose the ones I thought looked the best together. I applied the stickers to the front, some doilies, and some seed beads in the middle for a tiny shaker. Last, I stuffed the back with crafty goodies and some energy boosting tea. :)

I made this interactive slider card using the adorable Kindred Stamps set Up for an Adventure. I colored the images using Blick studio brush markers. I used Lawn Fawn's grassy hillside pop up and slide on over dies. I used distress inks for dimension in the grass as well as for the clouds. The clouds were made using an MFT cloud stencil. I then used Scotch foam tape to build up the card and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! Hopefully you'll give it a try too! :)
