I recently participated in an awesome pocket letter swap on Instagram, and wanted to include a quick, but cute thank you card to a new crafty friend all the way in Germany.

I was lucky to find the totally adorable Art Impressions Sloth-Some stamp set at Hobby Lobby recently, with the perfect sloth image for a simple thank you card.

This was my first experience using Copic markers on kraft paper (Recollections 65 lb.) as well. It made the coloring go by so quick and the blending looks awesome. I definitely think I will be coloring images on kraft a bit more.

To complete the card, I fussy cut the image and popped it up with some Scotch foam tape onto some textured Craft Smith Dark Floral cardstock, which I die cut with the largest of the stitched rectangle stackables by Lawn Fawn.

Hello everyone! This card was so fun to make; all the images in this Lawn Fawn set are so adorable. This is my second card using the Ahoy, Matey! stamp set.

First, I stamped the images with Lawn Fawn jet black ink and colored them in with copics and Blick studio brush markers. I also used a banner image from Lawn Fawn's Bannertastic. I filled that in with Lawn Fawn ink as well, in the color butter.

I was in a fussy cutting mood and cut out all the images with my Cutter Bee scissors. I added clear Wink of Stella to give the images a little sparkle. Then stamped the "Ahoy, Matey!" sentiment onto the banner.

For the background, I used a scrap piece of 65 lb Recollections Kraft paper and Versa Mark ink to create my own patterned paper with all the images from the stamp set.

I used the Lawn Fawn's stitched rectangle stackables to die cut the card panel and layered my images on top.

Finally, I stamped the inside with the sentiments "you arrrrgh awesome" and "Happy Birthday!"

I think these images make the perfect birthday card for anyone, boy or girl! :)

This card came together relatively quickly, as I grabbed a somewhat busy patterned paper from my scraps as the main card panel. Its part of a 12x12 sheet from DCWV Confetti paper pad.

I die cut it with the large stitched stackables from Lawn Fawn and used the images from the stamp set Mom+Me. I stamped everything with Lawn Fawn inks and colored the images with Blick studio brush markers.

For the sentiment, I used Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder on black 65 lb cardstock.

This card is simple and easy, yet so colorful and cute. Its one of my favorites and I always love making use of my scraps!
