Ever since I found the DCWV Good Eats paper pad at JoAnn's, I was hesitant to use it (bit of a hoarder of cute craft supplies I'll admit), but I knew it would pair perfectly with Lawn Fawn's Let's BBQ stamp set.

I used most of the images from the stamp set and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers on Canson watercolor paper.

I used Lawn Fawn's stitched rectangle stackables to cut out the main panel from an adorable sheet from the paper pad. Then to break up the pattern a bit and make it a little less busy, I layered a piece of black cardstock and a simpler pattern from the same paper pad.

I used a white Uniball signo pen to make the sesame seeds stand out on the hamburger bun and added the steam lines from the stamp set to the steak.

I saved my sentiment for the inside, which I added the "Happy Father's Day" to from the Dad + Me stamp set, also by Lawn Fawn.

I think this card could also make a cute invite for a bbq or summer party, as well as a masculine birthday card!

Hi there!

With a move and a street fair in the very near future, its been a hectic couple of months, "slowing" my card production. So how fitting that I managed to put together this card with this adorable little Lawn Fawn sloth from the Hang In There stamp set.

I stamped and colored a few images ahead of time to have on hand, so this card came together pretty quickly. I used 110 lb. Recollections cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers.

For the background, I used a hexagon stencil from Recollections and cracked pistachio distress oxide. I started blending from one corner and faded it out to white in the other. I cut it down to a 5 1/4" x 4" panel and layered it on top of a 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" black 65 lb panel.

I stamped the sentiment with Versafine black ink onto a strip of 110 lb cardstock. I cut the end at a diagonal and layered it on top of a piece of black woodgrain washi tape, cut the same way.

Finally, I added some corresponding enamel dots as some additional embellishments.

This cute little gnome is from the MFT You Gnome Me stamp set and I thought it fit perfectly with these patterned papers from Recollections. English Rose Garden and Antique Street were the 12x12 paper pads I used; I was lucky enough to get them at Micheals during one of their $5 sales.

I die cut the papers using Lawn Fawn's stitched rectangle stackable and a flag die. I then layered them on a 110 lb white card base.

I stamped the adorable little gnome with Versafine ink and embossed the image with clear embossing powder onto Canson watercolor paper. I used Zig brush markers to color the image. I chose corresponding colors to the patterned paper for the flowers in the pot.

For the sentiment, I used the stamp that came in the set, which originally said "For A Friend Like Gnome One Else" and masked off the word "Friend." I wanted to use the "Mom" stamp that comes in the Mom + Me stamp set by Lawn Fawn, but it was too big to fit in the space. So instead, I used the stamp as reference and wrote in the word myself.

Finally, I added some cute little buttons as embellishments.
