Hello,

Today I'm sharing a super bright and sparkly celebration card using the cupcake digi from the Not 2 Shabby shop.

As I was looking through Pinterest, I came across these cupcakes that completely inspired my card. I thought it would be fun to color something different than chocolate or vanilla, so I went with these pastel pretties.

I used my hex chart to gather some Copics that were similar to the colors in the photo.

I sized the digi to about 2" x 3 1/2" so that it would fit nicely onto an A2 card front. Then I printed it onto a piece of 80 lb. Neenah card stock.

I used the colors above to fill in the image and then fussy cut it out. I also cut off the icing part of the image and popped it up the tiniest bit, so that it stood out a little more.

Then I layered a teal piece of card stock with glitter accents from Paper Studio, on top of an A2 sized piece of purple card stock from Recollections, leaving a 1/8" border around the edge.

For the sentiment, I cut the word celebrate from a sheet of gold foil card stock using a SugarPea Design's word die. I used the same card stock to cut out two flag banners using Lawn Fawn's bunting borders die.

I made up a card base using 110 lb. white card stock and attached everything to the card front using a Zig 2-way Glue Pen.

I had so much fun trying out some new cupcake color combos and I definitely want to try out some more, but I also want to try the edible version of these cupcakes as well! 😆🧁

Don't forget to check out the Not 2 Shabby shop and grab this cupcake image for yourself. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
