Hello and happy Sunday! I hope everyone had a nice 4th of July weekend. :)

I am sharing my latest card using a stamp set from The Sassy Club called Moon Child. This card turned out to be a sparkly rainbow explosion! 🌈🌟✨

To get started, I stamped the image onto a piece of 80 lb. Neenah card stock with Gina K. black amalgam ink. Then I used copic markers to color in the image.

Once I finished coloring I moved onto the background. I cut down another piece of Neenah to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and used washi tape to secure my starburst stencil. I used mermaid lagoon, picked raspberry, squeezed lemonade, and spun sugar distress oxide inks to create a rainbow, which I blending with my blending brushes.

When I made it all the way around the panel, I shifted the stencil to reveal the white space and blended on some more squeezed lemonade and spun sugar.

Next, I used an embossing stylus to add white dots across the entire panel. Then I did the same with some unicorn Stickles to give the appearance of stars.

I set aside my background to dry and fussy cut my image. Then I made an A2 110 lb. card base and moved on to the sentiment.

I had a Laurel Burch stamp set with a sentiment that read "Count the nights by stars, not shadows" which I wanted to heat emboss in white onto a banner. However, the font was a little too small to get a clear impression.

After several attempts, I just wrote out the sentiment with a white gel pen onto a pink card stock banner, which I cut out using a Lawn Fawn banner die.

I used foam tape to pop up the colored image and used liquid adhesive to add the banner underneath.

For the final step, I embellished the front with three sparkly, flat back stars and then attached the panel to the card base.
