Clean & Simple Birthday Cards

Using several supplies from Dollar Tree and some Amy Tangerine patterned paper, I was able to create a set of three quick and easy, last minute birthday cards. I used ribbon sequins, and a birthday stamp set I found at the Dollar Tree in corresponding colors to an old hot buy pack of Amy Tangerine paper I had from Michaels. I then used Echo Park stitched rectangle dies and some Sizzix circle dies to bring these cards together. I also decorated the cards with seed bead and sequin embellishments, adhering them with Ranger collage medium.

Bridal Shower Card

Pairing Jillibean Soup's Coffee and Donuts clear stamps with DCWV Good Eats paper pad (interior sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Bicycle Built for You), I made this card for my cousin's bridal shower. Still a learning progress when it comes to alcohol markers and fussy cutting, but who doesn't love sprinkles! :)

Distress ink background

Here is a second attempt at a shaker card and my first time using alcohol markers and distress inks. (Definitely jumping in headfirst lol) I decided to create an underwater themed card using this adorable Jillibean Soup stamp set, Whale Done. Distress inks are so fun to work with, especially on watercolor or Bristol smooth paper. Copics however, definitely take practice. After this card, I almost decided to give up on alcohol markers, which was almost a relief because it would've saved me a lot of $$$ lol. However, practice makes perfect and I easily fell in love with them. Luckily, I found that Blick Studio Brush Markers are an amazing alternative that give very similar results. In the end, I actually really like the way this card turned out. :)
